Behind the Scenes of My Upcoming Love Story

Exciting Times Ahead

Hello everyone! As most of you are already aware, over the last couple of years, I’ve been deep into a new writing project—a love story filled with just the right amount of drama. It’s not a massive tome, but it’s certainly longer than I initially anticipated. At first, I thought this would be more of a short story, but as the characters came to life and the plot unfolded, it turned into something much more substantial.

Why Kindle? A Perfect Fit

I decided to go with Kindle for the release, primarily because it allows for greater accessibility for readers. Initially, I had scheduled the book’s release for the end of December, which felt comfortable and well-planned. However, in September, I got a surprise call from the KDP team, and they had some compelling thoughts on moving the release up.

They pointed out that launching before the holiday season could open the book up to more potential readers—who doesn’t love a good love story around the holidays, right? After weighing the pros and cons and some late-night soul-searching, I chose to embrace the challenge and agreed to have the editing completed sooner than expected. Crazy times indeed!

The Whirlwind of Activity

The lead-up to this early release has been a whirlwind of activity. From organizing the editing process to planning promotional materials, I have been busier than ever. Let’s be real: writing a book is only part of the process. Once the manuscript is complete, the fun (and sometimes chaotic) task of polishing and promoting it begins!

With lots of coffee and numerous late nights, I pushed to get everything in place for an end-of-October launch. This is a time of reflection and excitement for me—knowing that soon my love story will be in your hands. I can’t wait for you to meet my characters and share in their journey against a backdrop of love and drama.
